Ethnopharmacology is a scientific study of substances, especially derived from plants, but also of animal and mineral origin. The Common pain killer, morphine is derived from opium poppy it has been traditionally used by groups of people to treat the various humans’ diseases in the body. It represents diverse academic traditions mostly anthropology, pharmacology, and botany.
