Marine Pharmacognosy deals with the naturally occurring substances of a medicinal value obtained from marine species. This session discusses the recent development of drugs obtained from marine organisms, and drugs derived from natural products such as antitumor and antibacterial agents and the effectiveness of these drugs, side effects, efficacy, and the employment of the latest technologies in drug manufacturing from natural resources.
